ON GRID SOLAR SYSTEM

An “on-grid solar system,” also known as a “grid-tied solar system” or “grid connected solar system,” is a solar power installation that is connected to the electrical grid. In this type of solar system, solar panels generate electricity from sunlight, and the electricity produced is directly fed into the local utility grid.

It’s important to note that while on-grid solar systems offer several advantages, they do not provide power during grid outages because they are designed to shut down when the grid goes down for safety reasons. To maintain power during outages, additional equipment such as battery storage or backup generators would be required.
